Eligibility Criteria for Allopathic Medical Officer Posts
Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission regularly invites online applications from interested Indian candidates for recruitment on Allopathic Medical Officers Grade-I under various Provincial Medical and Health Services cadre Group “B” in Pay Scale of Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade pay and other allowances as per the revised pay scales.
Interested and eligible Medical Candidates, those who are willing to join as Allopathic Medical Officer in Provincial Medical and Health Services Cadre of Uttar Pradesh, are required to fulfill the below mentioned eligibility conditions:
Eligibility Criteria for Allopathic Medical Officer Posts:
Essential Qualifications: A candidate for direct recruitment must possess MBBS degree of a university recognized by the Medical Council of India.
- A Candidate who possess a post-graduate Degree/Diploma in Medical or Health Sciences in a particular subject of a University recognized by the Medical Council of India or the Uttar Pradesh Medical Council shall be given preference in the matter of direct recruitment.
- In addition to this, it is also necessary to be completed one year rotary internship till the last date of receipt of application form.
Preferential Qualifications: Other things being equal, such candidates shall be given preferences in the matter of direct recruitment, who has served in the territorial army for minimum period of two years. Or Who has obtained a Group “B” certificate of National cadet corps.
Age Limits: Candidates age should be between 21 to 40 years (upper age limit of reserved category candidates shall be relax-able as per rules).
Important Directions: Candidates must ensure to have all certificate of their claim about age, Essential Qualification, Internship, no objection certificate (if they are in Govt. service.) and prescribed certificate for reservation at the time of applying the application. Simultaneously, the permanent U.P. Medical Council registration certificate is also required.
The candidates who do not have the Uttar Pradesh Medical Council registration certificate, will have to submit the same, if they are selected, within 45 days of the declaration of result. Otherwise their candidature will be rejected.
