SSC Stenographer Exam Tips
Staff Selection Commission – SSC holds Combined competitive Written Examination every year for recruitment of Stenographer in Group “C” & “D” in Govt. of India Organizations. SSC conducts two round of examination before final selection.
SSC holds a written examination for screening the candidate for the final round. The duration of written examination is 02:00 hrs. Candidate has to answer 200 questions each carrying 1 mark. There is negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. Its Sections 1 consists of 50 questions from General Intelligence, Section 2 contains 50 Questions from General Awareness & In Last 3rd Section It contains 100 Question from English Language and Comprehension.
Shortlisted Candidates in Written Examination are called for Skill Test – Typing Test as a final round. Candidate will be given a dictation for 10 minutes at the speed of 100 WPM for Group C Stenographer and 80 WPM for Stenographer Group – D Skill Test. This dictation is transcribed by the candidates.
