Marin ranchers and farmers will be allowed to slaughter a limited number of animals on their premises following a change in regulations approved by county supervisors Tuesday.
The decision by the Marin Board of Supervisors was unanimous and came despite vocal opposition. Before taking a vote, supervisors listened to nearly three hours of public comment from dozens of speakers.
